Paddock Pals
In this group, students dive into all aspects of barn work and horse care. They’ll learn the anatomy of a horse, including its parts and functions, and gain hands-on experience in grooming and feeding. They will also understand the essential tasks involved in maintaining a barn, such as mucking out stalls, managing hay storage, and ensuring safety. Students will be taught how to properly clean and care for their tack, including saddles, bridles, and grooming tools, to ensure everything is in top condition for riding and training.
We also make learning about horses and barn work fun and interactive with exciting activities! In warm months students get the chance to paint a horse, where they can showcase their creativity and bond with the animals in a unique way. Scavenger hunts are another favorite, where students search for barn-related items and solve clues, all while learning about horse care and barn management in an engaging way.
To support the group and their adventures, we frequently organize fundraising activities such as bake sales, lemonade stands, and even fun events like a Taylor Swift party!

Equestrian Camps at Rocking Horse Farm
At Rocking Horse Farm, we offer exciting camp experiences year-round, including summer camp, Christmas break, winter break, and spring break camps. Our camps are open to all Rocking Horse Farm riders, as well as anyone else interested in immersing themselves in the world of horsemanship. Each camp provides a unique, hands-on experience designed to foster a love for horses, learning, and fun.
Camp activities include grooming, riding lessons, barn management, and animal care. In addition to working with our horses, campers will also have the opportunity to care for our goats and miniature horses. Creative arts and crafts, along with plenty of opportunities to cool off, ensure that our campers enjoy a well-rounded experience. Best of all, every camp day is packed with fun and unforgettable memories.
